    Able to handle a wide range of cargo

    As well as transporting agricultural, forestry, and fishery products in reefer containers, we offer dry container shipping for construction machinery and factory equipment. We are able to handle all types of cargo, supporting our customers across a wide range of businesses.

    Provision of door-to-door intermodal transportation

    In addition to port-to-port maritime transport, we also provide integrated transportation services for imports and exports that combine rail and truck transport at loading and unloading points. Customers can choose the optimal combination of transport methods, and as a one-stop-shop, the charges are easier to calculate.

Kodai Company, Ltd. was established in 1988.
The company started out operating its own reefer ships, providing marine transport services between China and Japan for the import/export of frozen foods.
Changing with the times, we have now transitioned to reefer container shipping, and are expanding our services beyond China and Japan to the whole world, including Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa.
Besides frozen foods, we have expanded our business to the point where we now offer services for fresh and shelf-stable foods, as well as intermodal transportation.

We have built a global network, consisting of our Head Office in Tokyo as well as offices in Kobe, in six cities in China, and in Thailand, Vietnam, and North America, and with a team of professional staff armed with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry, we are ready to meet the needs and expectations of customers across the globe.
